At Elite Chinese Crested Puppies, we make shipping your new puppy as smooth, safe, and worry-free as possible. Whether your puppy is traveling by air or ground, we handle all travel arrangements, ensuring your puppy arrives happy and healthy.

If flying, your puppy will be shipped to the nearest major airport, with the option of home delivery depending on your location. Our specialists first determine the closest airport and then coordinate all flight schedules, paperwork, and logistics. Once everything is booked, we provide you with a complete itinerary, including flight times, layovers, and pickup information.

On the day of travel, your puppy is carefully transported to the airport. After check-in and all required paperwork is completed, we notify you immediately via email or phone, so you always know exactly where your puppy is.

Is It Really Safe?

Many families wonder if air travel is stressful for a puppy. With years of experience, we can assure you that shipping a puppy is very safe. Airlines that participate in Pet Safe Programs prioritize the care of pets to prevent stress and discomfort. Each puppy travels in a crate with food, water, a comfy bed, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them feel secure during the journey.

Flights typically last 2–5 hours, and we monitor schedules closely to avoid delays or long layovers. Your puppy will arrive the same day, safe, comfortable, and ready to meet you.

Winter, Summer, and Temperature Safety

Puppies are shipped only when temperatures are safe and comfortable, generally between 20°F and 85°F. In the plane’s cargo area, temperatures are kept around 70°F, similar to the cabin. Airlines enforce minimum and maximum temperature rules to ensure the safety and comfort of every puppy. When necessary, we schedule shipments earlier or later in the day to avoid extreme temperatures.

We also use temperature-regulated crates for additional safety, ensuring your puppy remains at the perfect temperature throughout the journey.

How the Shipping Process Works

We strive to make each shipment efficient and convenient. Since our facility is 30 minutes from the nearest airport, we often coordinate multiple puppies for the same trip, helping accommodate your preferred pickup times. To schedule shipping, we need:

• Your nearest airport

• Your home address and phone number

• The dates and times you (or a trusted adult) can pick up your puppy

We usually book flights a day in advance to ensure safe shipping conditions. Once your puppy’s flight is confirmed, we send you all flight details, pickup instructions, and necessary documentation.

All you need to do is pick up your puppy at the airport with ID and the airway bill number we provide. We encourage you to contact us as soon as your puppy arrives, so we know they arrived safely and can answer any questions you may have.
